Alejandro Maldonado Ramírez
Born in Mexico City, he is an artist, photographer, and graphic designer. Involved in sports all his life, he has collaborated in the organization of sporting events, primarily triathlons, for the past 20 years. As an artist, he has participated in 8 individual art expositions and 5 collective. His art, based on a sports theme, has been well received by many and has formed part of the collections of many important sports figures, including Michellie Jones, 2002 Sydney Olympics silver medalist in the Triathlon; Simon Lessing,
multi-medal winner for Ironman events, including world triathlon champion in ’92, ’95, and ’96; Tyler Stewart, Oscar Galindez, Chris Leg, Kim Loefleer, Eligio Cervantes, Allan Villanueva, Nelly Becerra and Felipe Van De Wyngard, among others. In addition, his art is owned by art collectors throughout the world, including in Australia, the United States (including Puerto Rico), Spain, the United Kingdom, Chile, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, and Mexico.
His passion for sports along with his interest in photography has led him to cover important sporting events, including the 2002 Central American Games in San Salvador, the 1994 World Triathlon Championship in New Zealand, the 1992 European Biathlon in Madrid, the 1992 World Biathlon in Frankfurt, the 1995 and 2002 World Triathlon Championships in Cancun, the 2007 Pan-American Games in Rio de Janeiro, and the 2009 World
Triathlon Championship in Gold Coast, Australia.
He himself participates in amateur sporting events and achieved a personal record of 3:30 hrs. in the 1996 Mexico City Marathon. He has participated in over 20 triathlons, earning second place in the 1994 Ixtapa Sprint; second place in the 2008 Veracruz Triathlon; and third place in the 2009 Valle de Bravo Triathlon. His best race times are 17:58 min. in the 5K, 38:45 min. in the 10K, and 1:27:55 hrs. in the 21K.

Está involucrado en el ámbito del deporte durante toda su vida, ha colaborado en la organización de eventos deportivos sobre todo de triatlón durante los últimos 20 años; como artista plástico tiene 8 exposiciones individuales y 5 colectivas, su obra con el tema deportivo ha tenido gran aceptación, y ya es parte de la colección artística de importantes figuras del deporte como son: Michellie Jones, medallista de plata en el Triatlón Olímpico de Sydney 2002, multicampeona en eventos Ironman.
